The Manufacturing Manager will have direct and indirect reports and will have the following
Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, motivate and coach staffMaintain safety, quality and on time delivery for the departmentChampion root cause analysis and corrective actions in the assigned departmentParticipate in design review, determining manufacturability of the product, establishing flow of the product and finalizing the schedule for productionTroubleshoot manufacturing issues and determine corrective actionsEvaluate production schedules and make any needed modificationsParticipate in leadership team meetings and update management on the status of the departmentComplete required reports and analysisOversee multiple projects at a time, which are time sensitiveOther duties as directed by managementThis position requires candidates to be on the manufacturing floor up to 75% of their day.
Candidates should be able to develop teams, hold others accountable, be energetic and able to take ownership of projects, have good work history and enjoy floor presence.

Requirements for the Manufacturing Manager:
1.
A bachelors degree is preferred2.
At least five years of similar manufacturing management experience3.
Experience successfully leading others in injection molding or Tier I automotive or tool shop environments4.
Experience overseeing direct and indirect reports5.
Experience initiating continuous improvement efforts6.
Experience overseeing non-union workforces7.
Microsoft Office, primarily ExcelSkills that are preferred, BUT NOT required:
1.
Scheduling experience2.
Complex manufacturing3.
Formal problem solving4.
Customer communication5.
Experience working with a QMS system (IATF, ISO, etc.
